London Theatre Shows in August 2024

Take a break from the warm weather in August with some of the hottest West End shows. Some of the biggest new musicals of the year are still going strong including Hadestown and the sizzling Kiss Me Kate. There are children’s shows for all ages and interests in London this month as well, including The Tiger Who Came To Tea, Starlight Express and The Wizard of Oz musical, starring Aston Merrygold and The Vivienne.

This is also your last chance to catch some of the most anticipated new musicals of the year. Olivier Award-winner Standing at the Sky’s Edge plays its final performance on 3 August, while FANGIRLS at Lyric Hammersmith bows out at the end of the month.
