Brooklyn longshoreman Eddie Carbone is a decent man. He has brought up his niece Catherine as if she were his own daughter, and is fiercely protective of the young woman. But when she falls for the overtures of charismatic Rodolpho - his wife’s Italian cousin who has been welcomed into their home - a fit of disturbing sexual jealousy and possessiveness explodes from Eddie. Soon, New York’s close-knit community of Italian-Americans is shocked to its core by the tragedy that unfolds.

BAFTA Award winner Dominic West leads an all-star cast as Eddie in Theatre Royal Bath and director Lindsay Posner’s production of this “Greek tragedy set in 1950s America” (Daily Mail).
