Monday Matinees In London

Mondays are not busy West End matinee days, but you can still get tickets for an afternoon show at peak periods like Easter, the summer holidays and Christmas. In December, more people are visiting the capital to enjoy Christmas theatre in London and shows for kids such as Peppa Pig and The Smartest Giant in Town often schedule performances between 11am and 4pm on weekdays.

Theatre matinees on Mondays finish before 6pm, so you can give a standing ovation and be back on the train home before the evening performances have begun warming up! If you want even more choice when booking your midweek theatre trip, check the listings for Wednesday matinees.
