Getting into the Venue

The Noel Coward main entrance is situated on St Martin’s Lane and leads directly into the theatre foyer. A ramp (30-40% gradient) allows level access into the foyer and through the front doors, with handrails in place. There is step-free access to Box M, which has two accessible wheelchair spaces. A drop-off point is located on St Martin’s Lane for blue badge holders.

All sections of the theatre must be reached by stairs as there is no customer lift available. There is no step-free access to bars.

Customer Assistance

Staff are on hand to assist with navigation around the theatre. An at-seat service is available for access patrons. Transfers are available to any aisle seat in the Royal Circle. Customers with limited mobility may ask staff for assistance up to the Royal Circle.

For those wishing to transfer from a wheelchair to fixed seating, it is recommended that a companion is brought. Staff are able to store wheelchairs in the cloakroom and scooters in the foyer for the duration of the performance.

For those who require assistance or wish to book wheelchair spaces, it is important to book well in advance to guarantee availability and notify the theatre of any special requirements. Discounted tickets are available for all access patrons and one companion, with price and availability depending on the show.

The Stalls can be accessed via 31 steps down from the foyer.

Extra legroom can be found in aisle seats.

Royal Circle

The Royal Circle is 3 steps up from the main foyer and is the most accessible section in the theatre. Wheelchair spaces are available in Box M, which has step-free access. There is space for 2 wheelchairs or for 1 wheelchair user and a companion. Transfers are available into any aisle seat. Customers may ask staff for assistance up the 3 steps to the Royal Circle.

Grand Circle

The Grand Circle is 30 steps up from the main foyer.

Extra legroom can be found in the Boxes and in aisle seats.

Balcony

The Balcony is accessible via 54 steps up from the main foyer. This section is not recommended for those with limited mobility.
