The Glass Menagerie Tickets

Duke of York's Theatre

Academy Award nominee Amy Adams makes her West End debut in an anticipated revival of Tennessee Williams’ masterful memory play.

Amy Adams makes her West End debut

Hollywood star Amy Adams makes her London theatre debut in Tennessee Williams’ compelling masterpiece The Glass Menagerie.

One of Williams’ most autobiographical plays, The Glass Menagerie is the story of Amanda Wingfield’s attempts to carve out a better future for her family. Determined to find a suitable husband for her vulnerable daughter Laura, with the help of her son Tom, this beautiful but devastating play lays bare the struggles of Depression-era USA.

Amy Adams stars as matriarch Amanda in her West End debut. The six-time Academy Award nominees’ varied filmography includes Man of Steel, Junebug and American Hustle

Further casting includes Paul Hilton and Tom Glynn-Carney as Tom at various stages of his life. Jeremy Herrin directs. His work with Headlong (People, Places and Things; The Nether) has earned him plaudits on both sides of the Atlantic.

With one of America’s most sought-after actors bringing her famed versatility to the Duke of York’s Theatre stage, The Glass Menagerie tickets are an unmissable highlight of the 2022 theatrical calendar.
