Stalls Guide

The stalls are divided by two large aisles running the length of the section diagonally through the space. The front half of the stalls is made up of rows A-Q whilst the back half of the section is divided further by two half aisles running horizontally. The Circle overhang does not occur until row Q, meaning the front half is completely unrestricted and not overshadowed. The overhang only begins to affect those seats at the back of the house, which is factored into the pricing structure for the section. Because of the shape of the theatre some seats on the end of rows, particularly those in the first six rows are restricted, something which is again taken into account with their price.

The seats are very gently raked, but enough to allow those at the back a good view of the stage. Due to the interactive nature of The Lion King the stalls are an excellent place to sit with children, especially throughout the stunning opening number, though because of the rake, smaller children may have difficulty seeing the stage even with booster cushions. This is the best place to sit for children 8 and up. Boxes in the stalls are slightly raised from the level and also provide an interactive experience for the show. Each box has chairs rather than fixed seats which can be moved to allow the best possible view.

Fantastic seat for this show in particular! An aisle seat is perfect when in the stalls, trust me (no spoilers though!) Great view and was very comfortable.

These seats are actually pretty good even though they are a bit restricted you can still see perfectly

Excellent seats. Lot of interaction past you in the aisles. Really decent view of the stage. Get two booster seats for under 5s or shorter children. Probably not great for very tall people, over 6 feet.

This seat is next to the aisle and my family had this and the five next to it. This seat had the best view as you look across the aisle towards the stage. The actors come down the aisles so it's a great experience too. My husband who is 6ft 4 had no issue with the overhang from the circle - it did not affect his view at all - he was in Z 10

My family and I had seats Z6-Z11. Three of my children could not see a thing. They are 11 year old twins and a six year old. The adults in front of them were not particularly tall. The last two rows of the stalls seem to level off a bit meaning that if you are short or if there is someone tall in front of you - you can't see. We had to get booster cushions from the theatre which meant the kids could see but we were not impressed that we had to pay £4 for 4 of them(after paying nearly £500 for 6 tickets)!! My six year old had to have two booster cushions.

The pitch of the stalls overall isn't very steep so if you have a tall person in front of you you might be craning your neck a little to see the action on stage. Despite me having a tall person in front of me (and I'm 5'7 so not short) the choice of seat was brilliant. Characters came down both alleyways and it made you feel part of the show. I'm glad I picked the right hand side as you got to see Pride rock unfolding away from you (anti-clockwise).

These seats are good. Only thing is, the stage does get cut off ever so slightly as you are nearer the end of the isle.

Great seat for the Lion King - my 2nd time seeing this show. There are things happening in the aisles so a stalls seat is definitely advised. Great view of the stage, which is at a decent height and means you don't have to crane your neck to see the performance

These seats were perfect! Right in the centre, the heart of the show! It was pure magic with this view, would definitely go back there again!
